The main principles in this partnership are the next:

We are located in Peru, we know the alpaca end product market worldwide, and we have all the baby alpaca fiber & products that are needed to introduce the alpaca fiber to the world.
You are located in the right place to reach easily the next markets: U.S. , Canada, Europe, Australia, Asia. All of them are very huge markets with thousands of possible customers for alpaca products.
You are able to give and extra step and import the alpaca products from Peru. If you don't have previous experience importing items, we will help all the way.
We are able to give contacts, information, commercial leads, profits, technology, knowledge, resources.

Alpaca partnership goals
This plan has 3 main goals. All can apply to your specific position or maybe just some of them will apply.
a) Development & improvement of an alpaca end product market.
b) Development & improvement of your "alpaca brand name".

Your investment

For all partners (alpaca farms included): You need to get an alpaca shawl & scarves lot. In this way we can put you "on the map" as a source of very fine alpaca products (and promote your site and your products on the web). Minimum lot is US$200 in value. Check specific price details and models on our "Capes, ruanas, shawls & scarves" price list. Ask for it to info@alpacaperu.com
A set of 5 alpaca yarn color charts (US$50) and a set of 10 swatches (US$50, includes the next swatches on a knitted piece: baby royal alpaca, baby alpaca 21microns, baby alpaca 23 microns, baby alpaca acrylic, alpamix, alpaboom, alpaangora, alpazeta, alpaesse,alpacuzco)
A set of 3 alpaca fabrics (US$30, includes the next swatches: baby alpaca, alpaca sf, alpaca fleece)
Just for alpaca farms: You can send a minimum of 66 pounds of alpaca fiber to be processed and converted in yarns or other garments. Standard price for manufacturing yarn is US$15 by pound, but you will get a discount, because we are partners, so processing your fiber will be US$9.99 by pound of final product (there is a rough 20% of loss due to skirting, washing and carding. So from your 66 pounds of raw fiber you will get 52.8 pounds of yarn, at US$9.99 by pound, you will pay US$527.47).

So your investment will be a total of US$330 in products and, if you want to get on the processing fiber business, and extra of US$527.47 will be needed. All this plus the normal shipping. We can tell you exact shipping cost once we know your location.

What you get in return

33% discount on processing raw fiber (manufacturing yarn from your raw alpaca fiber)
Internet technical support: free website with unlimited space (this condition can change in any moment, it is good as it stays).
e-Commerce support: free internet shop for the promotion and sale of your products (alpaca end products, or alpaca livestock, or both).
Internet publicity: Free ads and links in our website and 3 other alpaca websites.
Internet search position: Free consulting and review of your website. Specialized tools for getting a better position on the Internet search engines.
Contacts, commercial leads: 200 commercial leads on your area (email, phone and fax numbers of companies that buy/sell sweaters, scarves, shawls. Many of them will be interested in knowing about your alpaca products. The best way is by email and wait for their phone call. Fax other way.) Updated every 3 months. Where do we get the commercial leads: We have invest money in subscription and software development on 3 different areas: mailing list data service for U.S., Canada, Europe, the B2B services on the Internet (Business 2 Business services connect us with potential buyers and sellers worldwide) and, last but not least, our own focused searching tools that can tell us all internet published data of specialized merchants, stores, dealers, retailers on some specific area (worldwide). So if we want to get commercial data about all potential buyers in the area of Dade County on Florida we can do it. But most of these buyers are not willing to import, they want to buy locally and they need education, support and consulting about what alpaca items is good for their retail business. That is your very important role on the distribution network.
The right to use all our photos and information that is published on our website on our collections. You can download request that we modify the collection or we develop your own collection ready to be published on the web or "burned" on a CD. Design of a modified collection is free. We will send a CD with your modified collection, with your own brand name on it. Just pay the shipping (US$10).
There is many people that look for alpaca information and alpaca products (and alpaca livestock!). We get many visitors daily. You will be categorized in our website information as : Alpaca Farm partner or Alpaca Garment partner. Only the senior partner of your area (state or equivalent) will know your partnership category.
If there is Senior Partner in your are you can ask for a "re-fill" of your stock. They will ask their price and you will evaluate what is better for you: take a "re-filling" from your local Senior Partner or importing directly from us. We are building a distribution network based on freedom of choice. If there is not a Senior Partner in your area maybe you can become one. If you are not willing to do that you can benefit if you introduce us to someone who is willing to take that position. Alpaca is a fiber that needs the maximum exposure and the only way to develop alpaca fiber and end product market is developing a distribution network. Every part of the network must profit from its work. We are not trying to re-invent the wheel! Just using tools that have are common commerce methods worldwide.

By the way, you don't need to link or name us on your website information. We intend to develop your alpaca brand name not ours. Just say what you sell, what you do. The "how you do" is part of the inner and coreinformation of any business. We would like to be your silent and efficient partner.

This will keep you as a partner for one year. To renew your partnership we ask that you do a minimumannual order of US$500 (for sure that with all these we hope that you will be doing bigger and bigger orders every season).

Contacts, commercial leads: 1,000 commercial leads on your area (email, phone and fax numbers of companies that buy/sell sweaters, scarves, shawls and related items. Many of them will be interested in knowing about your alpaca products. The best way is by email and wait for their phone call. Fax other way.) Updated every 3 months.
Access to your own "Mailing List" system that is hosted on our internet servers. So people can subscribe & unsubscribe to your own mailing list and you can send messages to the list without worry of who is and who is not subscribing or spending time in updating your "manual" list.
You can use the consignment price and method but without any limitation on the number of products or size of the order. In this way we give you more flexibility to put alpaca products on the shelves in small quantities and manage more diversified products & customers.

We can burn promotional CDs for your alpaca products. With your own brand name, catalog and printed tags. Just pay the cost of the CD (US$1) and the shipping. To renew your partnership we ask that you do a minimum annual order of US$1,500 in alpaca products or services.

SENIOR ALPACA PARTNER

Just one for each state or equivalent territory. Check what territories are been researched, reserved or assigned: Canada United States

All the conditions for "Free" and "Junior" partners applies. These are the "extra mile" things that you need to do to get the benefits of a Senior Partnership.

Your additional investment

Additional investment of US$3,000 in alpaca products. We suggest the next proportion, you can change the proportion but the additional amount of investment on alpaca products must be US$3,000 :
- An extra set of US$1,000 in alpaca scarves, shawls, capes, ruanas, ponchos, capes. These are products that sell fast.
- A set of US$1,000 in coats & jackets. Not many people/stores have this very fine coats & jackets. Are the same quality that the ones that are on the most exclusive "catwalks" on Milan, Paris, New York. But without the "designer" price. Good item to promote the alpaca as a whole and to open any door. Once you get your fabric samples you will have an idea about how these coats & jackets will feel and how light & warm they are.
- A set of US$500 in Alpaca yarns (cones or skeins). Baby alpaca & alpaca 100% are our recommendations. But you can change. In this way we can put you in contact with knitters in your area that can buy very fine yarns from you.
- A set of US$500 in alpaca toys. They are popular. If you intend to be a Senior partner then you need to have these products in stock. We will put you in contact with many toy stores in your area.

What you get in return
DISCOUNTS: 10% additional discount on all other orders (except rugs).
COMMERCIAL LEADS: Contacts, commercial leads: ALL the commercial leads that we have for your area, normally that is more than 3,000 (email, phone and fax numbers of companies that buy/sell sweaters, scarves, shawls, yarns, fur toys, coats & jackets, rugs and related items. Many of them will be interested in knowing about your alpaca products. The best way is by email and wait for their phone call.) Updated every 2 month.
BUSINESS NETWORKING: You will know who are the free partners and the junior partners in your area (don't expect big numbers on this moment! we are just starting this partnership model! but we are confident that with time we will develop a full network because we see that cooperation is the faster way to develop a solid alpaca market).
CONTACT TOOLS: You will be in contact with the free and junior partners with your own special mailing list. But only if you want to develop this kind of role. Just let them know what you have in stock (so they don't have to wait until we manufacture and ship) and many of them will be grateful that you are in the middle as a solid rock not to block their way but to be the base of the building of a solid alpaca market.
RE-FILLING STOCKS: If you want, and you have enough stock, you can "refill" the stock of the Free Partners and Junior Partners. You get a 10% commission over our standard price. You calculate the total cost of the items (our price + shipping) and you transfer the items at that price. They pay the shipping from your place to their place. And we will pay you the 10% commission. It can be in cash or applied as credit for next order, your choice (transfer from our bank to your bank has a discount of US$50). If you don't want to use our "10%" policy, just develop your own wholesale price with the profit that you need and we will help you to put it in front of all the free partners and junior partners in your area. This is a free world! (We see it in that way). We suggest that you wait until clearance of checks. If you need help to install or use credit card payments just let us know and we will help.
FIBER PROCESSING: If you are interested on this side of the alpaca business, these are good news: You will be able to send us your fiber and fiber collected from all the alpaca farmers in your area. We will transform to yarns. Due to the distance and the size of your territory, you will become a main point to process alpaca fiber. Once we get you as a Senior partner we (you and us) will develop a focused campaign to let the people know about your services. Of course that the best way is that you have some samples in hand. So the first step is sending some raw fiber to be processed here, then we will return in yarn form (worsted) or as sweaters or other products that we will coordinate. Then you can start this part of the alpaca business. Once you are setup as a Senior partner we will ask any person interested in processing fiber to contact you because you are a partner in charge of your area. If you are on the alpaca livestock business this can help a lot in terms of your visibility level and the influence that you will have on the market on your area. It comes with the business!
PRINTED CATALOGS & MAILING TO AN EXCLUSIVE LIST: Mailing Printed Catalogs is the way that the biggest north American alpaca retail seller (US$35 million) has develop its business. This list is of a "top" exclusive high end market, people that is paying in this moment US$300 for an alpaca sweater and US$200 for an alpaca skirt. We have a mailing list of this target market and we can print catalogs. But these consumers are not willing to "import" items or wait until we ship items directly from Peru. In modern commerce we call this "the need of the distribution chain". If you are "closer" to the "end user", inside its own market, you have a big open window to reach this kind of exclusive consumer. We can print the catalogs at very low price. Design is US$1,000 for a 24 page catalog and printing is US$1.00 in couche glossy paper (we will update info once you get interested on this point). The mailing list is free of cost (because we are partners) and depending on your territory is around 500 to 5,000 people. This is a business that needs 2 parts: your part and our part. So this is another good reason that you become a Senior partner.
